During our consultation, I could see that Christine and Rick had really easy going personalities, but were a bit stressed about booking their photographer. So, we chatted about their wedding day and the plans that they had, and we came up with a schedule. Seeing this schedule on paper quickly turned to excitement for the wedding and extinguished any worries that they had when they walked into the studio. So, it was all planned out. It was going to be an outdoor wedding at Casa Bramasole and the weather would be as is expected in Laredo: hot but dry.
Well, fast-forward to the wedding week... where's the sun? It is raining daily and more rain is in the forecast. Finally, the wedding day is here and the morning of it is still raining. Should we start worrying? We have no control over the weather, so at this point I know that we will just have to make the most of it. Then, as if by miracle, just a few hours before I'm scheduled to arrive at the venue, the clouds part and the sun shines just as bright as any other July summer day! Yes!
This was the first time at Casa Bramasole and it's rustic decor, tall trees, and fountains were the perfect backdrop for Christine and Rick's wedding. And, since it had been raining all week, the temperature was cooler than normal. The staff at Casa Bramasole were very friendly and helpful, so it was a joy to work there and I hope I get a chance to do it again, soon!
Congratulations to Christine and Rick on their wedding! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I wish you many years of love and joy and I know that the images captured at your wedding will serve as part of your family's legacy for many years to come. Cheers!
Brenda's quinceañera was a beautifully pirate treasure chest/masquerade ball themed event full of many gorgeous details, and I could not think of a more perfect reception hall than Paseo Real in Laredo, Texas. Every detail was thought about and even the friendly wait staff wore masks in keeping with the theme.
The first time I met Brenda was at her portrait session that was scheduled about a month before the event date. Her Aunt Amanda reached out to me and I was thrilled when I was booked. At her session in downtown Laredo, Brenda was super easy to work with. She gave me great smiles and was quite comfortable in front of my camera. This, of course, usually results in a lot of great portraits to choose from which can make it a challenge to select just one image to print as a large portrait. So, I was not surprised when 11 images were selected to be displayed in the entry way to the reception hall.
Thank you to Brenda's family for choosing my as your quinceañera photographer and allowing me to capture and document gorgeous images of this traditional event. It was a wonderful experience for me and I truly enjoyed every moment.
