The end of 2016 is finally here, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone that visits my fan page on Facebook and blog for their continued support. It has been an eventful and busy year, and I've met and photographed many amazing individuals. I'm looking forward to another incredible year in 2017 and build upon my photo studio.
For my final blog post of the year, I thought I'd share some of my favorite shots from a portrait session I never got around to sharing. These are of the Miss Laredo America Pageant winners for 2016. Alexis and Sydney held the titles of Miss Teen Laredo and Miss Laredo, respectively, for this past year. I shot these a year ago and I'm so happy to share them with you. The shoot was a breeze with these lovely young ladies and their personalities really come through in their images.
Ceramicists use artisanal techniques such as hand-building, wheel-throwing, and glazing to create functional and decorative ceramics. Each piece is a unique expression of the artisan's vision, with textures, colors, and shapes that evoke a sense of craftsmanship and artistry.
