Continuing with my effort to keep content coming to this blog... this set of images comes from a photo assignment from a few months ago. A co-worker hired me to photograph her softball team just before one of their games. The kids were great to work with and everything turned out great except for the super busy background. Really, I only had two options: shoot with the sun to my back and have a somewhat clean background, or shoot with the sun to my subject's back and have a busy street with cars parked as my background. Of course, I opted for the sun behind the kids backs because I didn't want to photograph everyone squinting. I ended up replacing the busy background and was very happy with the results.
